harrods (aka heaven on earth)

I don’t think I was quite prepared for just how magical this excursion was going to be.  I love to shop and department stores are great but nothing compares to Harrods.  It’s so much more than a store.  The architecture, designer clothes, shoes (!!!!), bags, hats, Tea Room, Ice Cream Parlor, restaurants, CHRISTMAS WORLD, … the list goes on.  It was truly a shoppers dream and although I didn’t purchase anything I may have to make a few (dozen) trips back.

While in the area, we also walked to The Parent Trap House.  Well at least we think it was the right one, there was no sign and no one around to ask but it looked like we were in the right place.  It was cool to see because who doesn’t love that movie?  Definitely have to watch it this week.

Omg can we please go when I visit??? Looks magical. Too bad Berlin has it beat with the largest department store in Europe. Also like how you changed the “travel diary” menu to a section with just london, that way you can do other categories like UK in general, Paris, blah blah blah. Miss your face!!
